2011 Nick Costantini Trophi Game, Adelfia Italy

Pateadores 3, Real Adelfia 2.
Congratulations to the boys for a well played game and winning their first game and Italian trophy  in a friendship match against Real Adelfia.  The game was played on a turf field in Adelfia, Italy. There was a friendship ceremony before and after the match with the boys experiencing European custom and tradition by exchanging jerseys and team pennants. After the match, the boys received medals and a custom made Italian trophy for winning the match which was presented by the Real Adelfia organization.
The boys played hard and performed well as they became acclimated to the Mediterrean climate. Goals were scored by Esteban Reyes, Trevor Hyman and Tony Velazquez. Everyone enjoyed and shared plenty of playing time as they became accustomed to playing together.
During the match there was plenty of fanfare as the local Italian community came out to support their team and see our American boys play. Overall, it was a great start to what we hope will be a succesful tournament and even richer experience for our boys here in Italy.
Stay tuned for more photos and video footage........next game tonight against Zenit St. Peterbugh of Russia. Go Pateadores!!!!!
